Women’s Health Services
Our Women’s Health Services Program provides vital resources to help underserved women in and around San Antonio find breast cancer early
Mammography
Screening:
To be eligible for this program, women must be 40 years of age or older, have not had a mammogram in the last year, and have no health insurance or high deductible coverage.
Diagnostic Mammography:
Age is left to medical criteria, it is aimed at all women with symptoms of breast cancer, and a medical order is required.
Mammography is currently the most effective screening test for detecting breast cancer, but its benefits differ for women in different age groups. Explore mammography guidelines for the following age ranges:
Additionally, the American Cancer Society and Susan G Komen offer many resources on breast cancer screening.

Pre- and Postnatal Care:
Healthy moms mean healthy babies. We provide culturally competent care and support for you and your baby before and after birth. Services are available by appointment at our Madrid site and as walk-ins at the Mexican Consulate.
Educational Services
Knowledge is power—and we’re here to share it. Through our online platform, we offer certified Community Health Worker (CHW) training designed to build skills, confidence, and careers in public health. [Insert platform link here]
We also bring education directly to the community with interactive, culturally relevant classes on topics like reproductive health, breast health, pre- and postnatal care, self-care, and self-advocacy. Whether you’re looking to grow professionally or learn more about your health, we have a space for you.
